Title: Great Value in a Quirky Location
Oh, the shower was so outdated and the wifi didn't work properly. What a shame, I couldn't spend all my time in this delightful traffic hotspot.

the venue was near where i needed to be, great service, room was well-equipped and quiet. it had an electric kettle, a fridge, and a microwave oven, i appreciated that. had a bath. location was particularly good - easy access to forest recreation ground. in fact, it was located to the shops which sell everything from food to alcohol.

The location was great and brilliant, couldn't have asked for better. Staff was good and affable whole time...
Well, the bathroom was very dated.

Would recommend, no complaints whatsoever. Interesting place for exploring Nottingham. A nice size and fairly quiet room, with the added extras. Breakfast with eggs. Gorgeous building, affable staff. Exceptionally nice setting in a beautiful Victorian residential area. Based adjacent to the shops.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was superb and the apartment had a nice layout. It was impressively clean and tidy, with all the amenities we needed. The owner was super friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. The convenience of being able to catch buses into the city just a stone's throw away was a major bonus. Can't fault this place at all! Highly recommended and would definitely love to stay here again. Unfortunately, it was fully booked on my preferred date, but I already tried to rebook.

Our host Richard was excellent, providing everything we needed and being on hand whenever required. Plenty of buses and a manageable 30-minute walk to the city center. Conveniently located near a nice park with tea rooms, as well as a variety of restaurants and pubs. Great value for money, with a fantastic breakfast included. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. Richard was very helpful, even allowing us to leave our car there the following day.
Felt truly looked after, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a fantastic stay at this stylish apartment, perfect for a family with 2 small kids. the self-catering facilities were excellent, and the fridge and cupboards were stocked with a variety of food options. the apartment was spacious, clean, and newly-refurbished, with a comfortable bed and a full-size bathroom. the off-street parking and easy access to the town center and bus routes were a definite plus. the late check-out allowed us to enjoy a relaxed morning and have a lie-in.
We felt well taken care of at this apartment, with the owner being super helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Clean, warm apartment with comfy bed. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Free gated parking was a plus. Great dinner at nearby fish restaurant. Convenient location close to major road and bus stop. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Well-stocked fridge with lots of choices. Huge TV for entertainment.
Dusty bathroom fan grill that should be removed. Tight shower cabin.

I stayed at Magdala for one night on a business trip, but I'm already planning to return for a longer stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed ambiance. The kitchen was well-equipped and stocked with a generous selection of food for breakfast. Richard, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. The apartment is part of a beautifully refurbished merchant house and is incredibly spacious. The bedroom had a comfy bed and the bathroom was brand new and spacious. a fantastic place to stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The spacious and newly-refurbished apartment had excellent facilities and was spotlessly clean. The owner, Richard, was friendly and welcoming. We particularly loved the fully stocked fridge and cupboards, which made it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the city and surrounding areas. The apartment provided free Wi-Fi, which was a bonus for the kids to stay entertained.
My wife says that having blackout blinds or curtains in the bedrooms would have been great for the children's sleep.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, the Magdala Apartment was a steal! The room was clean and comfy, felt just like home. The location was spot on, with a bus stop nearby and shops and restaurants within walking distance. Richard, the owner, was super helpful and made us feel welcome. He even let us leave our car there the next day. Top-notch service!
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better would have been some cooking oil and salt and pepper. But hey, minor details.
